Learn moreOECHSLER AG ("OECHSLER"), a leading plastics technology group with a global presence and headquarters in Ansbach/Middle Franconia, has been named one of "Bavaria's Best 50" companies by the State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
The award is given annually to the 50 fastest-growing, owner-managed SMEs in the Free State of Bavaria. Above-average and organic growth are honored: measured on the one hand in monetary terms in terms of company sales, and on the other hand in terms of growth in the number of employees. The award was presented in person by Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger on October 4 in the Kaisersaal of the Munich Residenz.
OECHSLER AG has made a name for itself as a global supplier of plastic-based precision parts in the automotive industry and has been the global market leader with the electric parking brake in the actuator sector for several years. Since 2017, OECHSLER has been driving innovative solutions and products with its 3D printing fleet and can look back on many prestigious projects, such as the implementation of additive series production for the production of bicycle saddles.
2021 "Bavaria's Best 50" also focused on the selection criteria of economic stability, future viability, profitability, an appropriate equity ratio, and positive business development due to the pandemic. The winners of "Bavaria's Best 50" were selected by an independent jury - the auditing and tax consulting firm Mazars GmbH & Co. KG - determined the winners.
Dr. Claudius Kozlik, CEO of OECHSLER AG, said, "The year 2021 has once again presented us with great challenges, but has nevertheless been a very successful one. I am very grateful for the awards from independent institutions."
Hubert Aiwanger, Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, said, "Medium-sized companies that seek out new opportunities for growth and employment and exploit them consistently are the backbone of our economy. They live in entrepreneurship, assume responsibility, and create the jobs that form the basis for the high standard of living in Bavaria. With our economic policy, we want to continue to open up opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in Bavaria. We will strengthen and keep our companies' backs open for growth, innovation, and vibrant entrepreneurship."
In 2021, the OECHSLER group of companies also received the "Stylepark Award" for the design of the "Slope Chair" and the "Cummins Award" for delivery performance. Furthermore, the Franconian plastics specialist was named in twelfth place in the ranking for medium-sized family businesses of the "Wirtschaftswoche".
