As the operator of the website www.oechsler.com the OECHSLER AG is the controller in the sense of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) who individually or jointly makes decisions on the purposes and means of the processing of personal data, hereafter referred to as "data."

We take the protection of your data very seriously and strictly adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation and the German Federal Data Protection Act [Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG] in its respectively valid form.

4. Purposes for Processing Personal Data

Maintaining customer relationships may also require us or a commissioned service provider to use this data to inform you about product offers or to conduct online surveys to fulfill the tasks and requirements set by our customers.

Data will only be collected or transmitted to authorized state institutions and officials in accordance with applicable laws or if we are required to do so due to a court order.

5. Transmission of data outside of Europe

The OECHSLER AG is in internationally active company group. We can transmit your personal data to other companies in our group from countries within and outside of the European Economic Area [EEA] if these companies process your data for purposes which are similar to the ones described in this privacy policy. Data Privacy Acts outside of Europe might not ensure the same level of protection as European laws do. In such a case we will ensure that your personal data be sufficiently protected and safe as well as handled confidentially. We will also ensure that there is a legally valid basis for any transmission of data.

We will therefore insist that the countries receiving any data sign the EU - standard contractual clauses. According to the European Commission, these clauses grant an equivalent level of protection as any processing of data within the EEA.

The international transfer of data to the USA is legitimized in particular by corresponding EU standard contract clauses under data protection law.

If the recipients of data do not have a Privacy Shield Certificate we will make sure that your personal data be processed only according to our instructions. We also make them commit to confidentiality and to signing the EU - standard contractual clauses.

This website uses the open source mapping tool OpenStreetMap, a product of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom.

13. YouTube-Button and YouTube-Videos/Channel

On our website is used a button from Youtube.com/Youtube.com, YouTube LLC. (hereinafter referred to as "YouTube"), 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA. YouTube is a subsidiary of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.

The button can be recognized by the YouTube logo (white "Play" icon on a red background or the word "YouTube" in white with "Tube" on a red background). When you visit a buttoned website on our website, a connection is established between the YouTube servers and your browser. It can amongst other things IP address, date, time and the website you visit are collected by YouTube. For the purpose of functionality and analysis of user behavior, YouTube stores cookies via the web browser on your device. By calling up the YouTube button, you will be sent to the YouTube server which of our websites you have visited. We use Google Tag Manager on our website. Google Tag Manager is a service of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, or of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland, (“Google”) if the service is provided in the European Union (EU).

15. LinkedIn Insight Tag

Our website uses “LinkedIn Insight Tag”, a tracking and analytics tool, provided by linkedin.com, which is operated by LinkedIn Inc., 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View CA 94043 in the USA, in Europe by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Irland.

The tool “LinkedIn Insight Tag” by LinkedIn uses cookies that allow us to analyse use of our website. For LinkedIn users who are logged in at the same time, this means that the usage data is assigned to their respective personal account.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data regarding members’ visits to our website, including the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamp, and page views.

This data is encrypted, then de-identified within seven days, and the de-identified data is deleted within 90 days.

LinkedIn does not share the personal data with the website owner, it only provides aggregated reports about the website audience and ad performance. LinkedIn also provides retargeting for website visitors, enabling the website owner to show personalized ads off its website by using this data, but without identifying the member.

Data processing, in particular the setting of cookies, takes place with your consent on the basis of point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR for the purpose of website analysis. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that LinkedIn does not collect any session data.

Subscribe to email newsletters

The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. We store your email address for the purpose of delivering the newsletter.

The provision of further, separately marked data and information is voluntary. They are used for the purpose of personally addressing and / or personalizing the email newsletter.

Double opt-in procedure
If you register for an e-mail newsletter, the personal data and information you provide and transmitted to us will be electronically recorded and stored by us. The purpose of this processing is initially to carry out the so-called double opt-in procedure, with which you can consent to the regular sending of the e-mail newsletter. If your registration is not confirmed, your data will be deleted.
After your confirmation, we save your IP address and the time of the confirmation. Newsletter-Tracking
We would like to point out that we evaluate the behavior of the readers of our email newsletter. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels. These web beacons or tracking pixels are one-pixel image files that are stored on our website. For the evaluation, we link the web beacons or tracking pixels with your email address and an individual ID.
With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile to tailor the newsletter to your interests. When you read the newsletter, we record which links you click in the newsletter and infer your personal interests. We link this data with the actions you take on our websites. The purpose of this processing is to improve the quality of the newsletter and to optimize our offers. The legal basis is point (a) and (f) of Art. 6 (1) oft the GDPR.
This tracking does not take place if you have deactivated the display of images by default in your email program. Our website is aimed exclusively at potential applicants/customers as well as business partners.
