The WAVE DRIVE®-gears are an innovative product of OECHSLER.
The WAVE DRIVE gear excels in a high power densitiy, using cost-saving plastics at the same time.
WAVE DRIVE gears are available in different sizes and capacity ranges, with focus on diametres of 10mm to 30mm.
The special features of the WAVE DRIVE® gear can be outlined as follows:
- reduction ratios of i = 30:1 to i = 4800:1 in a single stage, no backlash
- low cost production of the toothing by injection molding
- only few components, coaxial input and output shafts
- high power density
- high efficiency with no backlash while running, self-locking from the
output side
- flexibility to adapt the customer’s specific requirements as a result of
the the joint development with OECHSLER AG
WAVE DRIVE® has a brilliant potential for use in actuators. WAVE DRIVE® appli-cations can be used in electrical and optical devices, control panels and controls in buildings/HVAC, medical technology, office furniture and communication technology.
