Destruction and Reconstruction
In 1945, a bombing destroyed the strate-gically important Ans-bach Railroad Station, and the OECHSLER production facilities located right next to it were also ruined.
A small plant – located in a short distance away – survived the attack with only minor damage.This is where the production started again. Within a very short time the OECHSLER company was up and running again – new production facilities were erected and new trade relations were established.
