Complete assembly at microtool level
In-mold assembly makes use of the nonadhesion effect between two plastic components in the manufacture of movable com-ponent elements such as joints and hinges. Widely used in auto-mobiles, for example, are air outlet systems with movable flaps in a casing with adjustment bar unit. Here, the adhesive in-compatibility of the plastics used enable us to manufacture and assemble the whole unit with one single multi-component tool.
